Facebook matches Pinkwellchick #GivingTuesday donations

3 Dec

The Pinkwellchick Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, is participating in Giving Tuesday again this year. And Facebook we’ll be matching up to $7 million USD in donations made on the Pinkwellchick Facebook Page on GivingTuesday. First come, first served.

Please donate in any amount to help us help breast cancer survivors in underserved communities who are in chemo and radiation treatment. The early donation gets that match!

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. To help raise awareness of charitable causes and amplify donors’ generosity, Facebook is matching up to $7 million in eligible donations made on Facebook during GivingTuesday 2019.

Welcome New PWC Board Chair, Crystal Houston!

8 Jul

Tonya-SXSW-49190.jpgThe Pinkwellchick Foundation, Inc., was created to carry on the vision of our fearless founder, Barbra Watson-Riley. I proudly served as the founding PWCF Board Chair of this amazing extension of Barbra’s tireless work in the areas of women’s health, specifically breast cancer and heart disease.

I recently accepted an appointment to serve as the first African-American women to serve as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. Therefore, effective July 1, 2019, inaugural board member Crystal Houston will serve as Chairperson of the Board.

crystal-houstonCrystal brings a wealth of non-profit, entrepreneurial, and managerial experience and is breathing new life into our initiatives and programs. I will continue to serve on the board as Business, Finance and Legal Lead and look forward to leading the fundraising effort for this year’s BAG IT for the CAUSE™ National Service Initiative
