[LISTEN ONLINE TO WURD AM]

Pinkwellchick Foundation, Inc., Board Chair Professor Tonya M. Evans joins WURD AM host Stephanie Renee McNeal on “The Mojo” to discuss the upcoming benefit performance of LIFE in the CANCER LANE, by a stage play written by PWCF founder and Philadelphia native Barbra Watson-Riley. The play will be staged during the 115th National Medical Association Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly  held at the Philadelphia Convention Center (7/29-8/2). Watson-Riley is the late daughter of Philadelphia notables Dr. Bernard Watson, Sr. and Mrs. Lois Watson.

With honesty, heart and humor, LIFE in the CANCER LANE is told from the real-life accounts of survivors and their caregivers, examining life after diagnosis and what happens when these women are thrown head first into the Cancer Lane. Whether it’s the chemo side effects or loss of hair and friends, the play examines the twists, turns and bumps in the road along the breast cancer journey.
