Barb’s Bag™ of Care & Comfort is an actual bag filled with essential items for chemotherapy patients to not only survive but thrive during their chemotherapy treatments. Think of it as a chemo survival kit!

Our founder, Barbra Watson-Riley, received a “chemo bag” early in her “life in the cancer lane” from her dear friend, and former Pinkwellchick Foundation, Inc., board member Lori Hall-Armstrong.

Barbra blogged regularly about how much she treasured that bag. It contained everything from an essential document organizer, to air sickness bags, aromatherapy, ginger candies, lotion, blanket, socks and much more. Now we gift bags in her honor to breast cancer patients undergoing chemo & radiation. Want to get involved to support this effort?

2016 BAG IT for the CAUSE … Save the Date!

In 2015 we had one mission …

to prepare and distribute 500 BARB’S BAG® of Chemo Care & Comfort bags to women diagnosed with breast cancer during our National Day of Service. We did it because of YOU!

This year, our goal is to double the effort during an entire weekend!

Due to extreme demand and the ever-present need, volunteers across the country will prepare and distribute at least 1,000 bags during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and also create enough bags to meet the needs of survivors throughout the year.

To accomplish this goal we need you to SAVE THE DATE!

As our second year draws to a close, we pause to thank you and to express how grateful we are for your support this year.

We successfully completed five BAG IT™ Events during our National Day of Service and have big plans for several events in 2016. Through our facility partners listed below, we provided to breast cancer patients approximately 500 chemotherapy care & comfort bags in the name, honor and memory of our founder, Barbra Watson-Riley.

When you answer Barbra’s call to “to something” for others, great things happen through our foundation for women with breast cancer, their families and caregivers.
